The pair - aged 16 and 14 and both from Wellingborough - were arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm after the shocking incident in December last year.

Police had been called to Bath Lane in Kettering at about 5pm on December 16 after a mass fight involving up to 10 people.

A 17-year-old boy and a 19-year-old man were taken to hospital with stab wounds and their injuries were described as "non life-threatening".

One eyewitness said the two victims ran to Kwik Fit in nearby Stamford Road to ask for help.

Today (Monday) a police spokesman confirmed they have made a full recovery.
