Boy and man arrested after a stolen car was recovered by police in Corby

Two males have been arrested in connection with the theft of a vehicle in Corby yesterday (April 7), Northamptonshire Police has reported.

The vehicle in question was a red Ford Ecosport Titanium Turbo and it was stopped by officers at The Jamb roundabout in Corby at around midday.

A 17-year-old boy and a 20-year-old man were both subsequently arrested in connection with the car theft and have been released on police bail pending further enquiries.

The Northants Road Crime Team tweeted yesterday: "Two males arrested after this stolen vehicle from @WMPolice was “stung” & tpac. Apologies for the road chaos in the Old Village whilst we sorted recovery."
