A boy has been arrested on suspicion of GBH after a double stabbing in Raunds.

The police helicopter was spotted hovering above the East Northants town after the shocking incident late on Saturday night (August 29).

A man and a boy, aged 37 and 15, were stabbed outside a property in Brooks Road on the northern edge of Raunds at about 11.30pm.

A police spokesman said they were both taken to hospital but are both recovering well with no long-term injuries.

A 16-year-old boy was arrested on suspicion of GBH with intent in connection with the incident.

He has been released on police bail pending further enquiries.
