A puppy who was stolen from Burton Latimer has been found this morning (Friday) following appeals for his return.

Boris, a nine-week-old Labrador puppy, was stolen from Kettering Road, Burton Latimer, at about 7.15pm last night.

His owner said he was chipped and distinctively marked and had offered a reward for his safe return. Northamptonshire Police had also issued an appeal.

Speaking on the phone just now, Boris' owner said: "We have just got him back, he's been dumped back.

"We have been calling and calling and literally just now he's come.

"I was calling again and he's come back in from over the top of the field."

His owner said he must have been dumped back.

She said she was very relieved and was taking Boris back inside to feed him. She said her children especially would be glad to have their puppy back.
