Bike stolen after being locked up outside Northampton Asda for just ten minutes

An electric bike was stolen after the owner left it locked outside a Northampton supermarket for TEN MINUTES.

The grey SameBike XWLX09, worth around £700, disappeared after being secured in the bike shelter outside Asda in Ransome Road at about 2.10pm on Sunday September 27.

A Northamptonshire Police spokesman said: "Our offices would like to hear from anyone who may have witnessed the bike being taken or ridden nearby, or who may have seen anyone acting suspiciously near Asda.

"If anyone does have information which could help our investigation can call us on 101 using reference number 20000508261. Alternatively, if you wish to remain anonymous, please call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111."
