Police are appealing for witnesses after an attempted residential burglary in Harrington Road, Desborough.

The attempted burglary took place between 4pm and 4.30pm on Saturday, August 15, and a spokesman for Northants Police said: "The offender/s opened and closed the front door but nothing was stolen."

Officers would like to hear from anyone who may have witnessed this incident or who may have CCTV of anyone acting suspiciously in the area between the stated times.
