A Corby resident was disturbed by someone trying his front door in an attempted burglary.

The 52-year-old resident was in his home in Selsey Road, Corby on Saturday, June 27 when he heard someone trying his front door just before 11pm.

The man looked outside his window and saw someone about 6ft tall running away.

Anyone who witnessed this or saw anything suspicious should call Northamptonshire Police on 101 or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
