A man has been arrested after a robbery in Desborough yesterday (Tuesday).

The victim, a man in his 30s, was in Braybrooke Road when he was threatened and had cash stolen from him at about 4.30pm.

After a search involving the police helicopter a 21-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of robbery later that afternoon.

A police spokesman said he has since been released on police bail, pending further enquiries.
