Armed men demand cash after walking into Higham Ferrers home

Two masked men demanded money at knifepoint after walking into a house in Higham Ferrers yesterday (Tuesday).

Police were called after the incident in Kings Avenue at about 4pm when the men entered a property through an unlocked back door.

Once inside they demanded cash from the occupants, two people in their 40s, at knifepoint.

Money was handed over and the masked men made off towards School Lane.
