Appeal for witnesses to attempted burglary at Burton Latimer home

Police are appealing for witnesses after an attempted burglary in Woodford Road, Burton Latimer.

The occupant heard someone try to open the front door of the residential property, however the door was locked and no entry was gained.

The attempt took place between 11pm and 11.15pm on Monday (January 4).

A spokesman for Northants Police said: "Officers would like to hear from anyone who may have witnessed this incident or who may have seen anyone acting suspiciously in the area between the stated times."

Anyone with information about the attempted burglary is asked to call Northamptonshire Police on 101 quoting reference number 21000007968 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
