Officers and members of the council's housing team visited the encampment in Whitehorse Yard, which runs from Orient Way to Market Street, this week and spoke to those living there.

A spokesman for Northants Police said: "This relates to an issue with an encampment in Whitehorse Yard, Wellingborough, where we’ve had repeat reports of anti-social behaviour.

"We went down there with the council’s housing team to work in partnership to stop the anti-social behaviour from happening and to help the people in this encampment access the required support."
