A14 at Kettering re-opens after incident
The A14 has fully re-opened in both directions after traffic was brought to a standstill this afternoon (Saturday).
Police closed the major road between junctions 8 and 9 just before 3.30pm after concerns for a vulnerable person.
Vehicles were diverted through Kettering town centre with long delays in both directions and Highways officers assisting with traffic management.
In the past half-an-hour the road was re-opened in both directions.
The Corby police team thanked motorists for their patience.
