A 17-year-old boy has been arrested and released under police bail after a man was punched twice in the face in Kettering.

The incident happened in Ebenezer Place, off Silver Street, in the early hours of Friday, January 19 at around 4.45am.

A man in his 20s was punched twice and suffered a cut lip, nose bleed, and swelling under his eye.

The 17-year-old boy was arrested in connection with the offence.

He has been released on police bail pending further inquiries.
