Crash involving two lorries blocking two lanes on M1 in Northamptonshire

Two lorries have been involved in a crash which has closed two lanes on the M1 in Northamptonshire on Monday morning.

Traffic cameras showed an HGV and a smaller truck blocking lanes one and two northbound on the four-lane section between Junction 16 for Daventry and Watford Gap just after 10.30am.

Highways England traffic officers are already on the scene managing traffic but a spokesman confirmed that congestion is building back to junction 15A and the Northampton services on the approach.
