Three more offences added to arrest warrant of Northampton paedophile who has fled abroad

A judge has added three bail breach offences to the list of offences that an on-the-run pervert is wanted for.

Raeshon Dean Everton Rose was sentenced to six-and-a-half years last summer for sexually abusing four girls.

The 24-year-old failed to turn up for sentence and went on the run. He was sentenced in his absence. It’s believed he has fled abroad.

His counsel were in court this morning to hear that three more bail act offences have been rolled up in the warrant for his arrest.

The whereabouts of Rose, formerly of The Headlands, is unknown and he again did not attend this morning’s case which was listed on the public list at 10am in front of Her Honour Judge Rebecca Crane.

Rose failed to attend three previous hearings on May 20, June 19 and August 28 last year. At today’s hearing Paul Prior, for the crown, applied to the judge for three Bail Act 1976 offences to be added to the charges again him and she agreed, adding that Rose could now be extradited on all of those offences, should he be found.

At his sentencing hearing last year, Rose, of The Headlands, Northampton, it was revealed he first started abusing the girls, who were all children, when he was a teenager. The abuse lasted for six years.

The court heard how Rose abused his victims on multiple occasions, forcing them to perform oral sex on him and repeatedly sexual assaulting them.

In 2021, one of the girls bravely told a friend about the abuse which had taken place when she was younger and this started a process which would set a police investigation in motion.

Northamptonshire Police would go on to find three other girls who Rose had sexually abused.

After pleading not guilty to the charges, Rose appeared at Northampton Crown Court in May where the trial jury found him guilty of eight counts of sexually assaulting a child aged under 13, five counts of child rape and one of causing or inciting a child under the age of 13 to engage in sexual activity.

Police say that anyone with information about Rose’s whereabouts should contact them on 101.
