Thirteen year sentence for 'dangerous' Kettering rapist
A rapist from Kettering has been given an extended jail term after he was deemed a risk to the public.
Michal Nietsche stood trial and rape and serious sexual assault charges against two female victims at the end of 2025.
The 46-year-old of Havelock Street was convicted by the jury in November and was back before Her Honour Judge Rebecca Crane at Northampton Crown Court for sentence last month.
The court heard how Nietsche had been found guilty of one count of sexual assault by penetration and one of sexual assault against a girl of primary school age that both happened some years ago.

He was also convicted of the rape of a woman that took place more recently, while abroad.
Police began investigating Nietsche in 2022, but slow progress through the criminal justice system resulted in a four year wait for the conclusion of the case for his victims.
Judge Crane sentenced Nietsche to six years in prison each for the rape and assault by penetration and a year for the sexual assault. They six year sentences will be served consecutively, and there was a one year extended prison term imposed after Nietshce was deemed by the judge to be a dangerous offender. During that year he will be subject to strict licence conditions in the community.
A lifelong restraining order was also imposed to protect both of his victims.
