Tearaway sped through Corby's Beanfield estate in VW Golf
A young man who was already banned from driving when he was caught behind the wheel of another car has been before the crown court
Chey-Kenzi Alexander, 20, was at Northampton Crown Court to be sentenced for three driving offences said to have taken place on the Beanfield Estate in July.
Alexander, of Butterwick Walk, Corby, admitted driving a VW Golf dangerously in Beanfield Avenue, Jubilee Avenue, Sower Leys Road, Gainsborough Road on July 26, driving with no insurance and while disqualified.
The court heard that Alexander had first been disqualified from driving back in 2024 when he was 18, after he admitted eight driving offences including riding a motorbike in Harlech without headgear, while un-licensed, with no insurance and without due care and attention on two separate occasions. He was given a six-month driving ban and ordered to pay a £120 fine.

Then in February this year Alexander drove Seat Leon Ecomotive over the legal limit for cannabis, drove with no licence and then failed to stop for police.
He was given another driving ban, this time for 16 months.
But in July he got behind the wheel again to commit the latest offences. He was before Her Honour Judge Adrienne Lucking at Northampton Crown Court to be sentenced on October 29.
He was given an eight month prison term suspended for two years. He was also given a six month overnight curfew and ordered to complete 100 hours of unpaid work.
He was again disqualified from driving for 12 months.
