Desborough murder trial set for next month

A man is to stand trial in April charged with murdering a 93-year-old in Desborough.

Samuel Field, of Gold Street, Desborough, is accused of assaulting Martin Glynn inside a house on September 20, 2024.

Field was initially charged with GBH but Mr Glynn, who suffered a traumatic head injury, sadly died three moths later.

The 40-year-old was then brought back to court and charged with murder, which he denies.
