Chick, formerly of Bozeat but now of HMP Peterborough, appeared by video link for the administrative hearing before resident judge Her Honour Judge Adrienne Lucking.

Chick is charged with two counts of attempted murder and two alternate counts of grievous bodily harm, all of which he denies.

A trial was due to take place this month but it has now been delayed. Chick will again appear before the court at the end of this month for a new trial date to be set, which could now take place early next year.

He was remanded in custody ahead of the trial.
