Corby town centre public safety order under review
The order was granted in December 2015 for three years, and Corby Council is now required to review it and apply for a further PSPO in order to keep it in place.
The PSPO prohibits:
Persons to be in possession of open containers with alcohol in, within the area covered by the PSPO

Hide AdPersons not to drink, consume or take intoxicating substances within the area covered by the PSPO
Persons not to act in a manner that causes alarm, harassment or distress as a result of consuming alcohol or taking intoxicating substances
Persons not to beg within the area covered by the PSPO
These conditions can be enforced by a police officer, PCSO or neighbourhood wardens.
Corby Council is proposing that the conditions and the area that the order covers remains the same and that it continues for a period of three years.
