Corby bill-payers can win £10,000

Bill payers in Corby could be in with the chance of winning £10,000 by simply switching to Direct Debit.

The Freedom Guaranteed campaign, run by Bacs, the not-for-profit organisation behind Direct Debit in the UK, will see a total of £20,000 given away in two six-monthly draws throughout 2016.

The campaign, which will open this Monday, April 4, is open to anyone setting up a Direct Debit with any organisation over the course of the year.

So if you switch a regular payment such as council tax or housing rent to Direct Debit, then you could have 5,000 reasons to celebrate!

It couldn’t be easier to get involved – simply register the Direct Debit online before December 31, 2016, for a chance to win.

You can enter as many Direct Debits as you like, as long as they are with different organisations.

Leader of Corby Council, Cllr Tom Beattie, said: “We’d encourage all of our residents to consider switching to Direct Debit, it is simple to set up and will take all the hassle out of paying your council tax or rent.

“Not only this but if you pay by direct debit you could be the lucky resident that lands £10,000!”
