Neil Armstrong runs a Facebook page which shares known stolen classic Ford vehicles in order to reunite them with their owners.

And he has made a plea for the vehicle to be returned.

He said: “I want to see if this jogs the memories of anyone who may have seen anything and hopefully get the car reunited with its rightful owner.

“The car is white with black stripes and has a picture of a piranha on the bonnet.

“The car has overriders on the front quarter bumpers, aftermarket door mirrors and a black stripe where the spoiler should be.

“The car has black alloys of unknown origin.

“The engine is a crossflow, the block has been painted red, is fitted with a chrome rocker cover and a chrome air filter and the tops of the front struts have been painted red.

“Inside the car is a blue roll cage and blue TRS bucket seats with a grey X on the headrest.”

Police are appealing for any witnesses or anyone who may have seen the car being moved to come forward.

Anyone with information should contact police on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
