India, 20, was out with friends in Northampton town centre in the early hours of Saturday, January 30, when she was last seen in Bridge Street, at about 1.15am.

A police spokesman said in a statement appealing for information: “It is out of character for India to not make contact with friends and family and she failed to arrive at work yesterday afternoon, which is also out of the ordinary.

“Concerns are growing about India’s whereabouts and police are appealing for her, or anyone who knows where she is to get in touch,”

Police had asked for anyone with any information contact them on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
