Poundland celebrates PEP&CO's fifth birthday - and it all started in Kettering
Poundland's clothing brand PEP&CO has celebrated its fifth birthday after it opened its first shop in Kettering in 2015.
The budget clothing brand opened its first shop in Kettering on July 1, 2015 and has since expanded to over 300 shops across the UK and Ireland.

Hide AdPEP&CO's managing director, Sarah Morgan, said: "Customers fall in love with PEP&CO whenever we put it in one of their local Poundland or Dealz stores - their shopping baskets prove it."
Since launching in Kettering five years ago, PEP&CO have generated over £100m in sale and has sold 2.6m pairs of £7 jeggings, the equivalent to one pair every minute.
It has also sold 2.2m pairs of £3 leggings, 11m t-shirts and 1.5m £1 school polo tops.
Sarah Morgan added: "We’ve filled a gap on the high street for family clothing at discount pricing. We’re delighted to be able to now bring the PEP&CO brand to even more locations."

Hide AdPEP&CO has continued to expand with space in Poundland shops across the country.
The brand now employs more than 1,600 people in shops, a support centre and in its logistics network.
