Corby Matalan given fresh new look
A clothing and homewares store in Corby has announced a ‘store refresh’ including a new entranceway.
Matalan, which describes it as am ‘omnichannel fashion and homeware retailer’, held a launch event at the Phoenix Parkway store on Saturday (December 6) which included a fun-filled day of celebrations, including exclusive giveaways, family entertainment and a live DJ.
The store has undergone a complete transformation which includes closing the existing entrance and exit doors to form one central sliding door.
Store manager Ataur Rahman said: “We’re thrilled to welcome customers back to our newly refreshed Corby store. The transformation brings a completely new and exciting shopping experience.”
The aim was to create a brighter, more intuitive, and inspiring environment for both loyal customers and first-time visitors. The 40-year-old company says the upgrade focuses on improved navigation, greater choice, and an elevated shopping experience across all departments.
Key enhancements include new front doors and an improved exterior, brand-new fixtures and fittings throughout the store, the relocation of the home department to the rear with a more contemporary look, and a major upgrade to womenswear with expanded ranges and increased choice.
The store also features a new service desk area, modernised fitting rooms, and an upgraded checkout hub designed for added convenience. Customers can enjoy a variety of in-store concessions, including Card Factory and the Little Mistress x Vicky Pattison collection.
