Should Prime Minister Boris Johnson's roadmap to lift lockdown restrictions - announced yesterday (February 22) - go according to plan, this means that all restrictions should be eased by June 21.

In light of this promising information, residents have started to make plans for summer and, if you are looking to start planning activities, Open Air Film and Chill are hosting a Covid-safe outdoor cinema at Delapre Abbey in July!

'The Greatest Showman' is scheduled to be shown on Saturday, July 10 followed by 'Grease', which is scheduled for Sunday, July 11. Visitors are welcome to drink sensibly and even have a sing and dance as they enjoy the film - so long as they go off to the side and grab the organiser as 'he loves a good dance'!

Organisers will make a decision - in regards to bad weather - 24 hours beforehand about whether or not to go ahead with the outdoor cinema event. They will make the decision to reschedule if there is a heavy rain or wind forecast - guests would be contacted via email.
