It is National Wildlife Day (March 3) and, to celebrate, we asked our readers to share photographs they took of wildlife in Northamptonshire throughout the year.
The county sees all sorts of beautiful creatures all year round from the buzzards in the skies down to the mice scuttling across the ground.
Take a moment to admire these stunning images captured by Northamptonshire residents on their very own doorsteps.
Maybe they will make you look a little closer on your next daily walk...

1. Squirrels
This photo - taken by Nicole Trowers - is of 'Nutkins' the squirrel who visits her garden every morning to feast on nuts left out for him!

3. Badger
This picture was shared by Nicola McKenna - this badger visits her garden regularly on his nightly rounds!

4. Fox
This close-up picture of a fox was sent in by Sophie Rowell after she spotted it in her garden.
