Couple leave the capital for first home in Corby

A couple from Hounslow have escaped the hustle and bustle of London to make the step onto the property ladder at Barratt Homes’ Priors Hall Park development in Corby.

Battiston Rodrigues (35) and Rochelle Jane Crasto (31) made the move after wanting to escape the rental trap and secure a home of their own.

The couple said: “We were looking for something with three bedrooms within our budget, and the Maidstone style home was perfect for us. It’s the ideal size for the two of us, and will be great if we have any children in the future.

“Barratt Homes had been recommended to us by many of our friends, so we had a look into some of the developments and we soon began to see the quality of homes.

“We really wanted a brand-new home as we have seen many people go for older houses and end up spending a lot of money on repairs.”

Set amongst extensive woodland and parklands, Priors Hall Park provides easy and sustainable access to the nearby market town of Corby through its many cycle paths and walking routes.

On the location, the couple added: “The area is full of greenery and it’s so peaceful here, which is one of the main reasons why we love it so much. As well as this, everything we need is easy and quick to get to.

“Our moving experience with Barratt Homes was excellent. Everything was very smooth and we have already recommended the developer to our family and friends.”

Alison Raine, Sales Director at Barratt Homes Northampton, said: “We’re delighted to welcome Battiston and Rochelle to our growing Priors Hall Park development. It fills us with immense pride to see the community that is forming here.

“We’re pleased to help the couple on to the property ladder, and it’s great to hear they had an excellent moving experience!”

There are currently a range of two, three and four bedroom homes available at Priors Hall Park, meaning first time buyers, young professionals and growing families are all catered for.

For commuters, Priors Hall Park offers excellent road links including the A43, A14, M1 and M6 all nearby, as well as trains from Corby Station reaching London St Pancras in just over an hour.
