Now that outdoor hospitality has made its big return this month, you can now enjoy a luxury afternoon tea in the spring sunshine.

We have rounded up an array of places in Northamptonshire that offer some stylish afternoon teas. Some are available to book now whilst others can be reserved for when indoor hospitality opens back up on May 17.

Enjoy a beautiful vintage afternoon tea at Kettering Park Hotel and Spa with delicious sandwiches, scones, cakes and pastries. They are served daily from noon to 5pm. Call 01536 416666 to book a table on their terrace.
The Falcon Hotel at Castle Ashby serves afternoon tea from 3pm to 5pm on Wednesdays through to Sundays. With wonderful views of the garden and rolling countryside, you can dine outdoors in style! Treat yourself to a traditional afternoon tea at Westone Manor Hotel (with vegan and gluten free options available). It is served every Friday - Sunday from 12.30pm to 5pm at £18 per person. Call 01604 739955 to make a reservation.
From May 17, you will be able to taste this stylishly scrumptious afternoon tea at the Orangery at Delapre Abbey, which just looks too good to eat! Call 01604 760817 to make a reservation.
Tuck into this delicious afternoon tea at Whittlebury Hall from May 17. It consists of pear and almond tart, lemon meringue macaroon, vanilla and blueberry madeleine, dark chocolate and gingerbread panacotta, warm fruit and plain scones accompanied by strawberry jam and clotted cream, cucumber and chive cream cheese flat bread, coronation chicken and coriander wrap, cheddar and leek tart, pork, cheese and pickle sausage roll.
Rushton Hall are now taking bookings for varieties of afternoon tea from May 17. They serve both traditional afternoon tea and a luxury Champaign afternoon tea, which boasts an assortment of scones, clotted cream and preserves as well as a beautiful selection of sandwiches, cakes and patisseries. From May 17, you will be able to book a delicious afternoon tea at Fawsley Hall Hotel and Spa in Daventry. You'll be able to dine with the beautiful historic backdrop of a 15th century country house either in the Tudor Bar and Lounge, the Conservatory or even the Great Hall. Prices start from £27.50.
You will be able to drop in at the Walter Mill Tearooms in Ringstead to devour this scrumptious afternoon tea from May 18. They have opened up their seating area and, although they are not currently taking afternoon tea bookings, they will very happily make you an afternoon tea to go so you can enjoy it on a picnic or from the comfort of your own home!
