A former Chinese takeaway on Corby's Danesholme estate could become a restaurant after plans were submitted to the council.

The owners of the empty building in Boden Close want to continue using the Lotus House premises as a Chinese takeaway and chip shop but add seating to create a new restaurant.

They have applied to Corby Council for formal change of use of the building.
