Nando's in Corby IS reopening

One of Corby's favourite chain restaurants will reopen.

Nando's is one of only a handful of remaining businesses in the town centre that are shut following the easing of lockdown.

Local people had been concerned that the chicken restaurant in George Street would never reopen and would fall victim to a pandemic aftermath which has seen some big restaurant chains including Pizza Express announce restaurant closures.

But bosses at the company have now confirmed that they do plan on throwing open the Corby Nando's doors once again.

A spokesman said: "We are still in the process of reopening all of our restaurants at the moment and while there isn’t any news regarding Corby at this time, we are still planning to reopen 100 per cent of our restaurants and should have news in the coming weeks."
