The Glasshouse, run by Corby Town chairman Paul Glass, closed in January 2017, less than a year after its launch and the building has been empty ever since.

Now the new landlords O'Connor Murray Holdings are hoping to make a go of the bar when they open later this year.

To kick-start trade, and ahead of an expected surge in outdoor drinking areas due to the Covid-19 epidemic, they are planing a swanky outside covered seating area as well as a glass porch.

Plans have been submitted to Corby Council this week and are currently open to public comments.
