Christmas menu revealed for Northamptonshire pubs including a fried turkey katsu, Christmas pudding sundae – and BATTERED SPROUTS!

National pub chain, Hungry Horse, has announced its Christmas menu and festive specials are now available across all Northamptonshire restaurants including Sixfields, Wootton and The Queen Eleanor in Wootton.

Customers can tuck into a variety of creative takes on Christmas classics including a festive turkey burger, a friend turkey katsu curry and Christmas mac and cheese - not to mention, a seasonal twist on the ‘Mix It Up’ Big Plate Special.

Sides include pigs in blankets, loaded roasties - roast potatoes topped with chopped pigs in blankets - stuffing, cranberry sauce, gravy and - finally, one that is sure to divide opinion around the dinner table - battered sprouts!

As for dessert, the pub chain has created a Christmas pudding sundae which is made up of warm Christmas pudding layered with chocolate and vanilla flavour ice creams, drizzled with toffee sauce and topped with whipped cream.

Rob Calderbank, business unit director at Hungry Horse, said: “We like to offer something for everyone at Hungry Horse at great value, so we’re really excited to launch our Christmas menu with some of the most creative Christmas dishes available.
