The announcement of the first national lockdown - due to the coronavirus pandemic - in March 2020 meant that a lot of weddings could not go ahead last year.
The weddings that could eventually go ahead could only do so with a limited number of guests and Covid safety measures in place.
This, however, did not stop some Northamptonshire couples from tying the knot.
We asked our readers to send in pictures from their weddings that took place during and around both lockdowns in 2020.
Here are some of our favourite photos of the happy couples...
"We got married on 25 July. Not the big wedding we'd planned but a lovely intimate wedding nonetheless and a lovely day."

Emma Seymour got married to her husband on September 12th 2020. We love the inclusion of the Corona bottle!

"We were married 19th September at Skylark Farm. It was the most beautiful day with the sun shining. Our plans completely flipped upside down but we got there with 22 of our closest family and friends outside and Skylark and the registrars made it perfect for us."

"Raimondas Grikstas and I got married in Gretna Green on the 3rd of November. I set up a Facebook group and invited a small number of people who thought i was going to be in a competition. Then broadcast live. It was really nice to surprise them with something during all of this."
