A charity in Little Irchester has hens in need of a new home.

Animals In Need has numerous hens in its care which are ready to be adopted.

Annie Marriott from the charity based at Pine Tree Farm in London Road, Little Irchester, said: "We have some beautiful hens for adoption.

"They will need to live in small groups with plenty of space to scratch around in, a dust bath, enrichment areas and a large secure shed (or similar) for sleeping in.

"Please note a small coop is not enough, these girls are used to free ranging and enjoy foraging."
