The search is on to find a new home for this 'very shy lady.'

Golden Retriever Bethany is one of the animals currently in the care of the volunteers at Animals In Need.

Annie Marriott from the Little Irchester charity, which has been rescuing and re-homing animals across the county for 30 years, said: "Bethany is a stunning three-year-old Golden Retriever, she is house trained but is a very shy lady.

"An active but quiet experienced home is essential, where she can blossom and grow in confidence.

"Bethany has lived with several other dogs before but fought with one of them, hence she is looking for a new first class home.

"She is ok with older sensible children but not cat tested."
