Made In Corby, which promotes arts across the borough, is releasing five weeks of online artist-led activities as part of a new ‘Made At Home’ project in response to the COVID19 restrictions.

As part of Made In Corby’s efforts to keep the communities they work with creative during the lockdown, six artists have been commissioned to create short, fun activities for all ages; including dance sessions to keep older people active, photography challenges, poetry for all ages and crafts to keep families working together for hours.

The series of creative activities started at the end of April, with a new task posted on the Made In Corby website and their social media channels every Monday, Wednesday and Friday until the first week of June.

Programme Director Helen Willmott said: “We’re hoping to create moments of togetherness, with households in both Corby and Wellingborough being creative, trying something new and sharing their work.”

Made in Corby are also encouraging people who have tried the Made At Home activities to share their makes on facebook, twitter and instagram and to take a short feedback survey for a chance to win one of two £50 shopping vouchers.
