With the Easter holidays fast approaching, it is time to start planning some fun Easter activities for all the family.
Spring is now in full swing so it is time to get out and about and enjoy the beautiful historic houses and gardens around Northamptonshire, fuss some baby animals and - most importantly - eat your weight in chocolate.
Don’t be late for this very important date! The Stanwick Lakes Easter Egg trail runs throughout the school Easter holidays, with large eggs and charming characters to find. Each weekend of the holidays will include a chance to see adorable animals, enjoy face painting and fun craft activities. The trail and activities coincide with the reopening of the visitor centre and café. No booking needed, £3 per trail.
10. Wicky's Easter Bunny Ball, Wicksteed Park (April 9)
Who’s ready to showcase their best bonnet? Wicky Bear is hosting his eggstra special Easter Bunny Ball on April 9. Dance your heart out at the Easter disco, show off your best bonnets, win eggcellent prizes and more! Tickets £5 per person. Book in advance online.
11. Kids Afternoon Easter Tea, Kettering Park Hotel (April 7)
Bring the family and enjoy a children’s themed afternoon tea on April 7th at 11.30. The afternoon also includes an Easter Egg Hunt and activities. Grown-ups can enjoy a scone and unlimited cups of tea. £16 per child, £8 per adult. Call 01536 416666 to book or email [email protected].
