Smile! Christmas selfie stops proving popular in Rushden

Have you seen the selfie stops dotted around the town?

A series of festive selfie stops are proving popular at various locations across Rushden.

A giant snowman is one of the festive selfie spots dotted around the town to spread some cheer during the Christmas period.

Rushden Town Council is hoping people will enjoy having a selfie with the fun characters and then share them on the council's various social media channels.

Have you stopped for a festive selfie in Rushden yet?

A spokesman for the council said people have been really enjoying the selfie stops and added: "The reindeer and the snowman were hand painted by the first mayor of Rushden Town Council, Clive Wood, and the gingerbread person by Rushden Town Council staff."

If you haven't spotted the selfie stops yet, you can find the giant gingerbread person in Station Approach, the giant snowman in Hall Park and the giant reindeer in the Memorial Garden.

Rushden Town Council would love to see your selfies with them as well as hearing your suggestions for naming each of the festive characters.

You can share your selfies on the council's social media pages or by emailing [email protected]

Happy Christmas everyone!
