Retro: St George's Day parades in Northamptonshire

Scouts, Cubs and Beavers from across the region usually march across the Kettering park on the Sunday nearest to England’s saint’s day, after attending a ceremony at the pavilion in which they renewed their promises and received awards.

But the lockdown instructions issued in the wake of the coronavirus pandemic meant organisers had to cancel this year’s walk.
