Community healthcare heroes across the county are saying a big thank you to everyone who has donated to support them during the Covid-19 pandemic.

Hide AdThe Northamptonshire Health Charity coordinated efforts to support NHS workers, resulting in gifts of Easter eggs, energy drinks, cereal bars and lotions being made available to staff at Northamptonshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust.
NHFT's team of 4,500 staff has continued to deliver a range of physical and mental health services across Northamptonshire and into parts of neighbouring counties at home, through GP practices, clinics, schools, prisons and in residential and hospital environments despite the Covid-19 crisis.

Hide AdMore donations went to patients on wards at Berrywood including colouring pens and pencils, puzzle books, cards, dominoes, plant pots and bulbs.
NFHT's service manager for In-patient mental health occupational therapy and physiotherapy, Sarah Wilson, said: “It’s so touching to see the donations arrive.
"Being able to take a short break to come and get a snack or some much-needed hand lotion really helps us to carry on staying strong for our patients and service users during this really challenging time.
