Lightshow extravaganza promised at Starlight Walk for Kettering's Cransley Hospice

Kettering s Cransley Hospice will be hosting a 5km walk with a difference - with spectacular illuminations and a lightshow extravaganza.

Tickets are now on sale for the charity's first ever 'Starlight Walk', which is taking place on September 25 in the breathtaking surroundings of Boughton House.

Starting after sunset, participants will boogie their way around the walk by torchlight, with surprises en-route including a spectacular lightshow extravaganza.

Everyone who takes part in this fun-filled new event will have a cocktail to get the party started along with a dance warm-up, before they trek through illuminated woodlands and finish by dancing the night away with a DJ under the stars.

Kate Ilott, events manager at Cransley Hospice Trust, said: “After a very difficult year, we are hoping that all of our supporters, as well as those in the community who are just looking for a good time with their friends and family, will celebrate with us, while helping to raise essential funds for hospice services in north Northamptonshire.

“The Starlight Walk is set to be one of the most spectacular events we have ever hosted – and we can’t wait to get the party started at Boughton House this September!”

Tickets for the Starlight Walk cost £15 per person, which includes entry into the beautiful grounds of the exclusive Boughton House, the fun-filled dance warm up and sunset cocktail at registration, participation in the 5km walk with the spectacular lightshow experience, a torch to light the way and the Starlight Disco as you cross the finish line.

There are also additional incentives for those that pledge to support the hospice further, by raising sponsorship for the event.

Anyone who manages to raise more than £100 will receive a free upgrade to a VIP ticket, which will include a ‘UV Pack,’ a glass of fizz and a sweet treat as they cross the finish line.
