Receptionist Sarah Lampert said: "We took on the challenge because I think we just needed something to pick everyone up and raise a bit of money for charity.

"It brings the team together without actually being together as we're not seeing each other much with split rotas so this is a nice thing to do as a team."

Anterior's staff regularly raise money for charity with their own challenges like walking one million steps and previously supporting Cancer Research UK and others.

This year they hope to beat their previous record of £1,000 for Cynthia Spencer Hospice, which some of the workers have close ties to, according to Sarah.

The team of 12 plan to do 50 flights of stairs every day in November to reach the target, with many already starting training, including Phil who has been going up and down between patients.

The dentist staff will be taking pictures and filming themselves at home to share with each other and on social media while they also hope to meet in small groups around Kettering to complete some flights as a team.

Sarah said: "Various states of fancy dress will hopefully be included to make it a little more fun.

"Our aim is to get the whole team involved even if some of us can not manage to do the actual physical challenge."
