Two more coronavirus deaths confirmed at NGH

Two more deaths from coronavirus have been confirmed at NGH, taking the toll to 211.

Figures from NHS England show two people died from Covid-19 at NGH yesterday (Saturday, May 16).

There were no confirmed deaths at KGH for the second day in a row.

The death toll at the two main hospitals in Northants stands at 351.

There have also been 81 confirmed deaths in the county's care homes, with at least 66 of the 250 care homes in Northants reporting coronavirus outbreaks.

There are now 1,261 confirmed cases of Covid-19 in Northamptonshire according to the government.
