Total Northamptonshire coronavirus cases rises to 15 after another three confirmed

The total number of coronavirus cases in Northamptonshire has risen by three to 15 in the latest release of figures from yesterday (Wednesday, March 18).
It is not known where in the county the three latest people who have tested positive are or how they became infected.

Hide AdTwo deaths have been confirmed in Northants, a 92-year-old man at Northampton General Hospital and a 45-year-old man from Kettering - the youngest person in the country to die after getting the disease.
The national figure rose by 676 yesterday to a total of 2,626, with 103 deaths.
Although the government has admitted the actual number of cases may be in the tens of thousands as people are only being tested at hospitals.
Compared to neighbouring counties, Northants has the third-highest, with Buckinghamshire and Oxfordshire having more at 27 and 34 respectively.
Leicestershire and Cambridgeshire have 14 and Warwickshire has 10.
