Three more Covid-19 deaths announced at KGH

There have now been 121 deaths from coronavirus at KGH

The Covid-19 death toll has increased by three at KGH, taking the toll to 121.

Figures released by NHS England today (Thursday) show three more deaths have been recorded over the last three days. Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday saw one death each day at KGH.

At NGH, six more people have died. Three more deaths were confirmed for Sunday, May 3. There were two more deaths on Monday and one more on Tuesday.

Three more coronavirus deaths have been confirmed at KGH

It takes the total at NGH to 185.

Elsewhere in the county, the Office for National Statistics (ONS) has confirmed 60 deaths in care homes.The UK's death toll is now the second highest in the world behind the United States, with over 30,000 confirmed Covid-19 deaths.
