A spokesman said they wouldn't give a running commentary on cases but said they "wish all of their colleagues who are unwell a speedy recovery".

The spokesman added that after every case they carry out a deep clean if the worker has been on-site recently, including fogging if it's in an office area.

Figures released by county public health bosses last Friday revealed the borough of Kettering is currently battling seven coronavirus outbreaks - two or more cases linked by time and setting - but said all seven were at care homes.

Earlier today we reported that nearby Corby's seven-day Covid rate is now the second highest in the country.

The borough's rate is now 521 per 100,000 people - topped only by Sandwell in the West Midlands at 523.

Wellingborough and Kettering are numbers 34 and 35, with case rates of 363 and 361 respectively.
