Pupils sent home after Covid case at Kettering junior school

Another school in Kettering has informed parents of a Covid-19 case today.

Parents of students at Millbrook Junior School in Churchill Way, Kettering, were informed of the positive case this morning (Friday, October 23).

A letter sent to parents and carers said that a member of the school community had tested positive for Covid and that a 'small number' of children who had been in close contact with the person had been told to isolate for 14 days.

It follows a rise in positive cases across the county, with a peak of 75 cases recorded in a single day in North Northants on Wednesday (October 21).
