It brings the total number of deaths at KGH to 213. There have been 291 deaths at NGH. Across the two hospitals, there have been 504 deaths.

The Care Quality Commission has reported 127 deaths in Northamptonshire's care homes up to June 19.

Low numbers in weekend announcements can sometimes be due to a delay in confirming deaths involving Covid-19 through a test or death certificate.

While lockdown is easing and the number of deaths appear to be slowing, Northamptonshire's director of public health, Lucy Wightman, said: "Whilst there are increasing signs of normality returning, we must remember that the virus continues to be in circulation and the risk posed by local outbreaks remains significant.
