
The deaths of seventeen patients with Covid-19 in Northamptonshire have been announced today (Friday, April 10).
Eleven of the deaths took place at Northampton General Hospital while six were at Kettering General. The tally does not include deaths in care homes or the community.
It brings them number of coronavirus deaths in the county to 87, with 40 of those at KGH and 47 at NGH.

The number of known cases in Northamptonshire as of last night stands at 547.
The news came this afternoon as 953 deaths were announced across the UK - the highest total yet.
Deaths are not always announced on the day they happen - it takes time for them to be officially recorded and for the figures to be passed to NHS England.
